This service is specifically designed for micro‑entities – businesses with annual turnover below £632,000, total assets below £316,000, and fewer than 10 employees. Under UK company law, micro‑entities benefit from simplified financial reporting requirements: only an abridged balance sheet and limited notes are required, with no profit & loss account filing. Our service combines annual accounts preparation, Corporation Tax computation, and full HMRC compliance filing into one cost‑effective package, allowing micro‑businesses to fulfil all statutory obligations with minimal effort and at the lowest possible cost.

Full‑Year Ledger Consolidation and Year‑End Adjustments – After the financial year‑end, we gather all your financial records (bank statements, sales records, purchase invoices, expense receipts, etc.) and perform a comprehensive consolidation and adjustment. This includes: confirming that total sales and invoiced amounts match actual bank receipts; verifying all purchase costs, operating expenses, and other outgoings for deductible purposes; confirming closing balances of receivables and payables and identifying potential bad debts; calculating depreciation on fixed assets and gains/losses on disposals; verifying loan and lease liabilities and accruing interest payable. All adjustments are documented for audit trail purposes.

Simplified Statutory Accounts for Micro‑Entities – We prepare your annual statutory accounts under the micro‑entity regime, filing only an abridged Balance Sheet and the prescribed minimum notes with Companies House. During preparation, we proactively identify material commitments, guarantees, and related‑party transactions that require disclosure, while maximising the statutory simplification to reduce administrative burden. Once approved by the board, we file the accounts electronically on your behalf, well before the 9‑month filing deadline.

Corporation Tax Computation and CT600 Filing – Based on the adjusted taxable profit, we accurately compute your Corporation Tax liability. We systematically review all available reliefs – Annual Investment Allowance, R&D relief (if applicable), charitable donations, and reasonable management deductions. We complete and file the CT600 return electronically, accompanied by full supporting tax schedules. We also ensure that both filing and payment are completed within 12 months of the year‑end, avoiding late payment interest and penalties.

Personal Tax Impact Assessment for Directors/Shareholders – After completing the company tax return, we provide an additional “Director/Shareholder Personal Tax Impact Note,” explaining how withdrawing profits via salary, dividends, or director’s loans would affect your personal Self Assessment tax position. We calculate the optimal salary vs. dividend mix for different profit levels, helping you minimise your overall tax burden while remaining fully compliant.

HMRC Enquiry Preparedness Service – We create a “Tax Compliance File” for you, containing all annual accounts, tax computations, CT600 copies, bank statements, major contracts, and expense vouchers, organised in the logical order of HMRC’s CT600 enquiry process. If your company is selected for a Corporation Tax enquiry, you can immediately present this file to HMRC, demonstrating full compliance and professional financial management, thereby shortening the enquiry period and reducing risk.
